Research Solutions Begins Certification Process for ISO 9001:2008

July 23, 2014

At Research Solutions, we focus on offering the best customer experience possible. As a full-line chemical distributor, we offer hundreds of quality chemical solutions, including industrial chemicals, solvents, solvent blends, cleaners and metalworking products. Our customers in the automotive, printing, housing, pharmaceutical, paint and coatings, marine, and OEM manufacturing industries value the variety of specialty products we supply. Our customers appreciate our commitment to meet and exceed industry standards and customer expectations for quality products and exceptional service.

As we continue to exceed these standards and expectations, this year Research Solutions begins the rigorous process to obtain the internationally accepted and sought-after ISO 9001:2008 certification. We will implement the ISO 9000 management standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and earn ISO 9001:2008 certification within the next year. All our operations will undergo a thorough evaluation and inspection to verify consistent customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. ISO’s website explains, “The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer’s requirements and that quality is consistently improved.”

We take pride in our commitment to the chemical industry and our dedication to our customers. Research Solutions has operated under strict quality and environmental management standards since our inception in 1971. We are a charter member of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), an association in which we have maintained an active membership for over 40 years.

We are confident that the ISO 9001-2008 certification will continue to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our company operations. The processes at all branches and locations of Research Solutions in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Georgia will obtain certification in 2015. Every function we perform in the chemical distribution process will be of the utmost quality on a consistent basis. Our customers will continue to receive exceptional products and service, which they have grown to know and trust over the past 43 years.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a network of national standards institutes from 163 countries working in partnership with international organizations, governments, industry, business and consumer representatives to establish quality and environmental management standards.
