Research Solutions Attends NACD’s ChemEdge Conference

NACD held their annual ChemEdge conference and trade show in Louisville, KY on August 13-16th, 2019. ChemEdge provides training and education on issues important to chemical distributors, manufacturers, and warehouses. Topics include a wide range of issues including environmental health and safety, transportation and logistics, security, regulatory compliance, inventory control, purchasing, and emergency response.

As part of our commitment to continued education and responsible distribution, Research Solutions sent members of our management team to attend the conference. The responsible distribution workshop provided an advanced look at the 7th Cycle changes to the Responsible Distribution program allowing Rs to better prepare for our next RD verification audit. These voluntary EHS&S audits helps to in sure that we are operating at the highest standards, to better protect our employees, the community, and the environment. Our team also attended several breakout sessions covering topics including environmental compliance, emergency management, flammable storage, and inventory.
