Account Manager - Mobile, AL

We are seeking an Account Manager who can build on and manage an established Nashville, TN territory.  We are looking for an Experienced Industrial Sales Representative with a good track record and a stable work history. 


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values
  • Service existing customers through relationship development and follow-up to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint
  • Establish, in conjunction with Sales Manager, the annual sales goals and meet or exceed those goals at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling, direct mail, email, and networking
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned territory
  • Develop and implement agreed upon Marketing Plan, which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area
  • Pursue ongoing personal development of product knowledge and technical selling skills. Remain current in market activity by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows, and reading trade journals
  • Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry, Microsoft Outlook, as well as company software
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
  • Follow company policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Business or Technical Field and/or 4-6 years of Industry related sales experience
  • Strong aptitude for communicating and understanding technical material
  • Have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Ability to work under structured supervision, independently and as part of a team
